Train for Hyrox at your CrossFit box in Les Sables d'Olonne
Hyrox is a global fitness competition open to all levels. The concept is simple: an 8 km race interspersed with 8 functional exercise stations. Each station is preceded by a one-kilometre run, for a total of approximately 8 km of running and 8 strength and endurance challenges.
Created in 2017, Hyrox has become one of the most popular fitness competition formats in Europe and worldwide. It is open to everyone, from beginners to experienced competitors, with individual, duo (Doubles) and team (Relay) categories.
Every Hyrox race follows the same format: 1 km run + 1 functional exercise, repeated 8 times. Here are the 8 stations in order:
1,000 m on the SkiErg — intense upper body and cardio workout.
50 m sled push — leg power and core engagement.
50 m sled pull — pulling strength, back and arms.
80 m of burpee broad jumps — explosiveness and endurance.
1,000 m on the rower — complete cardiovascular endurance.
200 m loaded carry — grip strength and core stability.
100 m weighted lunges — leg strength and endurance.
100 Wall Ball reps — coordination, power and cardio.
Hyrox is a complete challenge combining endurance, strength and mental toughness. Whether you want to compete or simply improve your overall fitness, Hyrox training will help you:
